“I do not know any young lawyer who has handled as varied, nor as many appellate matters as he has managed during the last ten years.  His briefs on pending causes are continually being examined by our Court.  He demonstrates in his work the outstanding qualities of a scholar and a realist.  His personal injury, products cases, insurance, juvenile, and many other fields of law.  He possesses equal competency on the criminal side of the docket.

“I first knew Mr. Clarkson when he was a Moot Court Award Winner for 1967.  He was a student at St. Mary’s Law School at that time.  He has often appeared before the Supreme Court of Texas since that time.  His oral presentations always manifest care, responsibility, and clear insights."
